AI Clone Playbook · Ep 3 kit
The Faceless Story Kit
How to make 20-second videos that grow your business without filming yourself. One question, one flip, three beats, one payoff.
The case
2.6 million plays, and you never see his face
2.6M

317K

0

20s
per video
Jordan Watkins (@jordans.archivess) has 317K followers. His "Change" reel got 2.6 million plays, and you never see his face. No talking head. Just words, a few objects, and one big question. Every video stays on one niche: tech meets art.
Three things make it work. One niche, so the algorithm knows who to show it to. One question per video, so the viewer knows in a second why to keep watching. One look, so you recognize his videos before you read a word.
You can run the same play for your business. Here is the exact method.
Pick the format
Three ways to make video without a face
All three skip the camera. They do different jobs:

Question story
Words, objects and one big question. The format on this page.
Best for: Answering the questions buyers ask before they buy.

Myth buster
Your brand as a hero that beats the myths about your product.
Best for: One objection that keeps killing sales.
Read the playbook

Micro-drama
A one-minute film with a cast and real dialogue.
Best for: The argument your customers have before they buy.
Read the playbook
This page is about the first one: the question story. It is the cheapest to make and the easiest to keep up every week.
How ours works
Our faceless story, beat by beat
The video at the top is ours. No camera, no mic, no one on screen. A small clay-style figure and a blue cube act out the problem every founder has: no time to film.

| Time | Beat | On screen |
|---|---|---|
| 0-3s | The problem, in one line | "Clone, I can't film today." |
| 3-9s | The doubt | "No camera, no mic." "You're on camera right now." "...That's different." |
| 9-25s | Proof, one object at a time | Script, voice, avatar. Each one gets its own card and a check mark. |
| 25-31s | The real question | "Will people know?" "They'll know you showed up. Every day." |
| 31-38s | The payoff | "It's posted." Five platforms. He's asleep. "Ship the whole month." |
Ours runs 38 seconds because it tells a small story. The shape is the same as the 20-second version below: a problem, a turn, proof, a payoff. Start with 20.
01
Step 1
Pick one niche and list 10 questions
Faceless works when every video circles the same topic. Your topic is the thing you sell. Your videos are the questions your customers ask before they buy. Paste this into Claude:
I sell [your offer] to [your customer]. List the 10 questions my customers ask most before they buy, in their own words. Then rank them by how much the answer changes their decision. That list is your next 10 videos. The best questions come from your inbox, your sales calls and your reviews, so paste a few in with the prompt if you have them.
02
Step 2
Use the 20-second story structure
Here is one customer question, laid out frame by frame:
How do you know a treatment will work for you?
One big question
You don't.
The flip, 2 or 3 words
The before. The after. Who it worked for.
Three short beats
Proof beats promises.
One-line payoff
| Time | Beat | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 0-2s | One big question | "How do you know a treatment will work for you?" |
| 2-4s | The flip, 2 or 3 words | "You don't." |
| 4-14s | Three short beats | "You look at the before. You look at the after. You look at who it worked for." |
| 14-20s | One-line payoff | "Proof beats promises." |
One question. One flip. Three beats. One payoff. Nothing else.

Step 5
Make it
This is the stack we used. No step needs a camera.
- 1
Script
One customer question, run through the prompt in Step 3. Read it out loud. Cut any line you would not say.
- 2
Frames
An image model makes one still per beat: the words, the object, the figure. Reuse the same character and color in every frame.
- 3
Motion
An image-to-video model turns each still into a 2 to 5 second clip. Slow camera moves read better than busy ones.
- 4
Sound
Music, or an AI voice if the story needs one. Words on screen carry it either way, since most people watch muted.
- 5
Edit
Cut to the beats, big captions, one music bed. Export 9:16.
Check every clip before you make the next one. AI video still adds extra fingers, garbles text on screens and drifts off-style. Fixing one clip is cheap. Fixing ten is not.
06
Step 6
One link in bio
Jordan has one link. That's it. Pick the one thing a new viewer should do (book, buy, join) and put only that in your bio. Every video points there.
yourbusiness.com/start
One link. One action. Every video points here.
Match the link to the question. A "will it hurt?" video should land on a page for nervous patients, not a price list.
07
Step 7
Post 10, then double down
Post your first 10 questions over two weeks. Don't judge one video. After each one has had two or three days, write down views, saves and comments.
The questions that win tell you what your buyers care about most. Make five more videos on each winner, with a new hook and a new angle each time. The method is in The Videomaxxing Playbook.
Rules that keep it safe
Every answer has to be true. Keep the source for every fact you put on screen.
Say it is AI. Use the platform's AI-content label when your visuals are generated.
No borrowed looks. Don't copy another creator's style, characters, music or words. Learn the structure, make your own look.
No promises you can't keep. A payoff is a point of view, not a guarantee of results.
What faceless can't do
Faceless video earns attention and answers questions at scale. It doesn't build trust on its own. Somewhere between the video and the purchase, a real person should show up: on the page behind the link, in a pinned video or on the sales call.
If you don't have time to film that part every week, an AI clone of you can do it from scripts you approve. See How Businesses Use AI Avatars.

We script, produce and post faceless or AI-clone videos for founders every week. You just approve.
Questions
Do I need to be on camera at all?+
No. Every visual on this page can be made without a camera. If you want a real face later, an AI clone of you can speak scripts you approve.
What if my niche is boring?+
Boring niches have the best questions. Your customers ask them every day, and almost nobody answers them in 20 seconds.
How many videos before I know it works?+
Make the first 10 from your question list before you judge. Watch which questions get comments and saves, then make more like those.
Do I need a voiceover?+
No. The format works with words on screen and music. A voice helps for longer stories, like the 38-second one we made.
Which AI tools should I use?+
Any image model that keeps a character consistent, plus an image-to-video model. Tools change every few months, so pick by how well they keep your character and color the same, not by brand.
Faceless or AI clone: which first?+
Faceless if you have never posted and want to test topics cheaply. A clone once people need to trust you, because a real face closes. Most businesses end up using both.
